We are a group of people with social phobia, sometimes called social anxiety disorder. Social phobia is an extreme form of shyness. It causes anxiety and panic attacks in certain social or performance situations such as public speaking, dealing with authority figures, being in groups or public places, talking to strangers, using the telephone, etc.
